Its worth it. I just picked it up. The online feature is really nice albeit Quite laggy and slow at times. The microphone is a nice feature and reccomended. The game hasnt changed much except for you can now go to a Town area and shop at all the rare animals shops rather then then visiting your town only certain times.

Its nothing new, just a few needed improvements. If you loved the Gamecube and DS version, you'll love this one.
