AV Famicom Adaptor?

I have a question about the AV Famicom i just ordered mine off ebay for a reasonable price of $60 and i know you need an to have an adaptor to play NTSC american NES games on it but can you use the Game Genie as an adaptor? Thanks for the help!

Well, if I'm not mistaken the Game Genie would convert 72-pin NES games to a 72-pin NES. You'd need an adaptor that converts 72-pin NES games to a 60-pin AV Famicom.

I used the game genie and bought an converter but nothing works what am i doing wrong? Do you know were i can buy one for cheap besides eaby?

Don't use the Game Genie. Just connect the game to the AV Famicom using the adaptor. That should work. If not, try different games to see if it's just the game or the adaptor. If it's the adaptor, you'll need a new one. They're hard to find anywhere but on eBay.
