Castlevania 3
24. Sep 2010 at 22:20

I've gone through a FEW castlevania 3's and none of them seem to work. I tried them on an aftermarket nes and on the original nes.  Is there some kind of recall or malfuntion with that title or am I just having bad luck with that game?

I understand some aftermarket consoles will have defects or malfunctions, but I have gone through three castlevania 3's on both original nes(2 of them) and 1 aftermarket system.  None of the three games worked. All my other games work no problem except castlevania 3... any suggestions, I mean is it possible that I got 3 of the same game in a row and they dont work? Did that title have a problem? I just dont know.

I have cleaned all 3 carts with qtips and I took apart and cleaned my system.  My nes works awesome now except for those 3 games.  I guess I will seek out to find another Castle 3 and see if it works.  Do you have castle 3? If so, does it work?

soz to go out of topic but has your game genie ever screwed your 72pin i had not long replaced the 72 so it was working nice and felt good and tight then a mate of ebay gave me a genie and all of a sudden all my games started playing up another 72 pin later its back to tip top working order again so iv stayed well away from the genie now  Angry

That sucks.  Bad luck on that game.  Just play Castlevania 2.  It was the best of the series I think.
