Which of the Super Mario Bros. games is the best?
1, 2 or 3?
I don't know which one I like the best,
I love them all so much.

I consider third game the best of three, because it has really many levels, overworld map, and many gameplay-altering features. Well, other two are great too.

Three is easily best. I mean, SMB2 isn't even a Super Mario Bros. game in my book, considering the whole infamous Doki Doki Panic thing. And Super Mario Bros. 3 is just leaps and bounds of an improvement over Super Mario Bros. Side-by-side, they just don't compare.

vvvDINOvvv what is that gif from??? Was that a real bombing, or a film?

....

The third game was the best, I keep having the urge to just play it over and over. What makes it the best, was the production time of the game. It is obvious that Mario 2 was
soo great because they just edited the living daylight out of
everything from the Famicom Disk game. At the same time
I could only guess that Mario 3 in Japan was going to be
Mario 2. However they had so much time in between the original first games, and the doki doki panic special.

Mario 3 is the perfect game. I wish the animation had last as long as the original animation. I miss seeing live Mario along side animated Mario.

Nintendo was sooo cool, now they are not Tongue

Sorry about the late response.
It's from a meteoroid documentary with the meteoroids changed to a giant
bullet bill.

Mario 2 was the greatest unoffical Mario game, and
Mario 3 is really Mario 2. So the true answer is really
the unofficial Mario 2 games.

It is like Sonic sequels. Sonic had two unofficial games.

Sonic CD = The true Sonic 2
Sonic 2 = Which level design, and areas was made in USA.

Their was never a second Mario Game to begin with, nore a
third game. For Japers it must have been a real big suprise,
for them to see the the third game.

Mario 2 was probably the most ground breaking game for USA
NES players, because the television animation was based off
comics  Grin Grin Grin Grin  I remember dancing to the intro.
