Gameboy scene died, with the advent of GBA.
The last time I heard about any GB,SGB,GBC
development was one website talking about gameboy
programming.
I have nothing against the gameboy, I prefer it over the
GBA, PSP, NDS, and so forth. However the fact that Nintendo
duced the GCN, dropped support for the GB series, GB playing and collecting becomes too grim mindset.
The same thing for the GBA, had tons of promising stuff but never and real hope.
What needs to be done is the following
1. A website with r-tarded examples of coding for the GB via whatever programming method that was used.
2. The implemention of infared, and GB playback on the NDS systems.
3. A slot that will hide the Gameboy carts ( which is part of the reason why people stop carrying them around. ).
I have seen Gameboys being played on the subway, and the buses for over ten to twenty years now. It is only recent that I see people carrying around NDSi3d ( or whatever ).

About my gameboy collection. I have some, but to be honest, I am sick of Nintendo all together

they took advantage of the youth gave us some good times and that
is about it. They Gameboy type was perfect, It had a perfect shape, and perfect storage method. In todays world a GB cart could have flatscreen, plugs, and even a changable firewire battery slot, but no

Gunpei Yokoi was still alive, maybe the Gameboy would have still been around. Because seriously that is how much they resepected each other in the game creator world of Japan.
The man even left Nintendo after he failed a second time.
He was to be the second Bill Gates but thanks to Ferdinand Verbiest we will never know, not at least in this lifetime.
