I know here in North America, a gold label means there's a battery in the cart.  I know Little Samson doesn't have a battery in it, so it sounds like it was simply a back-swap (someone literally took the back off one game and put it on another).  If so, it would seem they didn't really take care to make sure they put the same sort of back label on the game.  Some pictures of the label would definitely help confirm this.  Also, I'm not really familiar with PAL carts, so it's possible I'm wrong here, but I'm pretty sure you've simply got a cart that had a back-swap at some point.
