NES RF modulator alignment
25. Apr 2013 at 12:23

Greetings,

I recently repaired an NES, sort of. Replaced the 72 pin connector, the system works great via the A/V cables, but when I try to use the RF output, both channel 3 and 4 are slightly off, like the TV needs to have the fine tuner adjusted, but it is a newer TV without that feature. The picture is fuzzy and the sound is hissing.

I tried another NES and it works fine with the RF connection, which tells me the RF switch must be ok.

Does anyone know how to do an RF alignment on these systems?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris L.
