Will NES Controller buttons fit the gameboy?

Hey, Im starting a new Gameboy project and was wondering if you can take the buttons from an NES and putting them into a gameboy without any modifications needed.

Thanks,

Sam

Well, think about it, no. They do not match at all.
NES controllers are reversed, where your thumb drops in as well as the D-pad. The GB series as far as I know has the oposite effect.

However if you have the controller their is no harm in disassembling the two devices. A GB is just a screen and
chipset, and controller. A GB is basically a mini game system with the parts stripped of their shell.

So go for it. If their is problems, then you need to
smelt or add rubber parts to the buttons. But go for it,
just to check it out.

I dissasemble my game controllers, from time to time,
to fully clean them out since all kinds of residue builds
up over time. You just have to be carefull because a
controller is just a keyboard limited to less keys.
