NES NOT WORKING! NEED HELP PLZ!

My NES won't start up, when I press the power button nothing happens, no LED, no nothing. I've checked the wiring and the pins but nothing seems wrong. Can anyone help?

If my game won't start, I'm sure it would do wonders if you blew upon my cartridge.

If you have a multimeter, check the power supply and make sure it's putting out 9 volts.  If that's all good, you may have a blown capacitor.  If this is the case, open the NES and check for a capacitor that may be leaking fluid or bulging on the top.  It could also be a problem with the power button.
