Mario Game?
31. Aug 2014 at 03:36

I played a Mario game on the NES.

It was in Japanese (couldn't read the convos).
Mario had a hammer at all times. Not a hammer suit hammer like in Super Mario 3... but one where you would hit things in front of him with it.

I also dont think he could kill things by jumping on them in it.

Anyone know its name or where to get it?

Scrollable... just like a normal Mario game... but it was awesome... he had a hammer and the graphics were the best I ever saw on the NES... and it was in Japanese or something.

Sounds to me like Super Bros 8, which is a hack of the glorious Don Doko Don 2 on Famicom.
