Code on the back of a cartridge ?

Hello everyone, I'm new in the forum!  Smiley
This evening I was watching my cartridges and I noticed that behind the Super Mario Bros. 3 one, in addition to regular written warnings, was present in the upper right corner the words "MODEL No.: NES-038." Just curiosity, does anyone know the meaning?  Huh
