| THANK YOU! |
| 26. JANUARY 2003 - 22:05 CET |
|
I would like to thank the moron who decided to leech all 312 megabytes of NES WORLD with Go!Zilla yesterday between
11:00 PST and 15:30 PST. A big round thank you for sucking the entire 256kb limit for 4½ hours. I'm gonna look into,
along with Jeremy who runs and owns the parodius network, how we can avoid this in the future, if no solution can
be found then NES WORLD is dead... SO FUCKING DEAD, cause I can't pay a US$2000-3000 bill the ISP might throw at
Parodius, I've got bills way over my head these months and sofar Jeremy has been kind enough not to charge me but
instead pay the whole parodius bill himself.
Oh yeah, to whoever did it... your IP was logged.

| EIGHTBIT TSHIRT |
| 22. JANUARY 2003 - 21:35 CET |
|
I deeply apologize for my recent attack of lazyness, hopefully I'll get better soon. Anyway I noticed a pretty cool, if you ask me,
t-shirt on liksang.com today, a black t-shirt which has eightbit written on it and a HUGE d-pad printed, very cool if you
ask me, now if you'll excuse me.. I have to place an order.. ( check ).
Oh I almost forgot about this one! ( check ).

| ANOTHER PROTOTYPE SAVED |
| 20. JANUARY 2003 - 23:59 CET |
|
Probably the most discussed game over the years is California Rasins. Today the world got the news that the game isn't gone
for good, a prototype has been found in Florida. ( view ).
I'm not sure what else there is to say really, I'm quite happy that I atleast now know the game exist, though I wish I was
the owner of the cartridge (hehe). One thing I hope for the owner is that he makes a rom backup before something unfortunate
happens, cause when it does happen, there's no way back. So dude, if you're reading this... get it backed up.
I hope to have a nice update of the site ready in a few days (or tomorrow), but I honestly have been a bit lazy the past few
days and it's not quite over yet.

| ESCAPE FROM ATLANTIS UPDATE |
| 17. JANUARY 2003 - 22:43 CET |
|
I've been talking to a former Color Dreams employee, a real one, more precise Jon Valesh. He didn't remember much about
Escape from Atlantis because the game actually wasn't made by Color Dreams, but instead someone was hired to do the job,
someone who, as far as Valesh remembers, weren't even in California.
The man in charge of the project was Al Bunch, and therefore the game was to be a Bunch Games release, though it was
developed for Color Dreams and then to be switched to Bunch Games after the development was finished. It was made early
in the Bunch Games history, which makes it somewhere in the middle of the Color Dreams timeline.
But why Escape from Atlantis wasn't released is still unknown, but truth is, it would've made an excellent Bunch Game! :)

| ESCAPE FROM ATLANTIS ROM RELEASED |
| 16. JANUARY 2003 - 23:45 CET |
|
After much thought the game is now available to the public, enjoy eventhough you'll most definately get
very fustrated while playing, you've been warned, heh. ( read ).

| TRM HAD MORE CRAP UP HIS SLEEVE |
| 16. JANUARY 2003 - 00:55 CET |
|
I managed to start and finish this second article about TRM today eventhough I've got one
hell of a headache, which is like the 3 this week .... Anyway here's the article ( read ).

| SYSTEM BOXART |
| 14. JANUARY 2003 - 20:55 CET |
|
Various NES systems with packins have been released over the years, but sofar no one has bothered to cover the System boxart,
that is until now (heh). ( check ).

| SOME PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHEN TO QUIT |
| 14. JANUARY 2003 - 20:55 CET |
|
It happened again, someone decided to edit one of my pictures with some sort of attack at me, or whatever the
low-life no-brain had in mind. But the person obviously doesn't know how emailing works and how the IP address of the
sender is stored in the RAW mail header, even when a free online mail supplier is used. I had a suspect in mind and decided
to take a closer look at a header from a mail he sent me earlier and the mail from someone using a free mail service and
most likely not using his own name .... ( read ).

| 17MEGS OF POSTERS ADDED |
| 12. JANUARY 2003 - 22:33 CET |
|
I finally gave the "posters and phamplets" section a big update, going from 5 lousy entries to around 40 now (I'm too lazy
to re-count them and am still adding when writing this). What you see there is just about every poster and phamplet
I've got in my collection, so if you've got something which isn't there, feel free to supply a high-resolution scan of
your stuff, thanks! ( check ).

| WELCOME TO 2003 |
| 10. JANUARY 2003 - 22:55 CET |
|
I hope ya'll have entered the new year well. I've been looking through old CDs, again, and found a great deal of the pre-2000
news archives, so I've added those to the archive section along with the Novemver and December 2002 news.
( check ).
I've received an impressive ammount of mails regarding a SNES gadget, called NAKI Game Saver+, featured in my archive section.
It seems that most people are missing the piece of paper with codes that came with the unit, so I've scanned it and optimized
the game saver page a little. ( check ).
I'm finally online from my new home, so things should return to normal around NES WORLD pretty soon.
